AI TTS is a Windows desktop app for local text-to-speech generation. Paste your script, choose a model and voice, preview the result, and export WAV files when you are ready.
Does AI TTS work offline?
Yes. AI TTS is built for a local Windows workflow, so you can generate speech on your PC without a required cloud service.
Is it Windows-only?
Yes. The current release is built for Windows 10 and Windows 11.

What can I export?
AI TTS currently exports WAV files.
How much text can I generate at once?
You can generate up to 10,000 characters in one pass.
Can I change the speed of the voice?
Yes. AI TTS supports speed adjustment from 0.50x to 1.50x.
Models, voices, and privacy
What is the difference between Kokoro-82M and KittenTTS?
Kokoro-82M is the balanced option when you want more polished output. KittenTTS is the faster option when you want to iterate quickly.
Does it upload my text or audio anywhere?
No. Your script and generated audio stay on your PC while you use the app.
Do I need an account or API key?
No. You can install AI TTS and start generating without creating an account or connecting an API key.
